Dear Parents/Guardians We thank the Almighty God for successfully bringing us to the end of the first term of the 2017/2018 academic year. It is a Christmas holiday and we are happy to send your daughters/wards to you after successfully completingthe first term examinations. ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES The teachers worked very hard as usual to ensure effective teaching and learning throughout the term. One continuous assessment test was held during the term. The best five and the last five students in each class were called out for performing well during the College assembly. The best five were congratulated, while the last five students in each class were advised to be more serious with their studies. The first term exam was also done. EARLY MORNING LESSONS The College has arranged for early morning lessons for the external examination classes (JS3 and SS3) in addition to the extra lessons received in the afternoon. Parents should counsel their daughters/wards to avail themselves of this opportunity to make good grades. Those who dodged these classes should be advised to desist from such truancy. DISCIPLINE Please remember to advise your children/wards especially the SS3 students to obey all the school rules and regulations. Acts of disobedience will attract manual labour. Grievous acts of misconduct will attract suspension from the College and outright expulsion from the boarding house. BEDWETTERS It has been observed that some students do bedwet. The College have repeatedly pleaded with parents to sew mackintosh over their mattresses. However, those that have been identified as bedwetters will be dealt with accordingly.  HAIRCUT Parents are enjoined to ensure their daughters/wards get a haircut and keep it very low. It is not wise to come with the hair uncut and midway into the term and before midterm break be looking very bushy. HEALTH CARE Students are not allowed to keep any form of drugs in the dormitory. The Clinic is Open24hours for their health needs. Asthmatic students are advised to come back with their drugs, inhaler and warm clothing because of harmattan that is fast approaching.Parents should endeavour to take their children/wards with eye, tooth and ear problems for medical attention before coming back. Always advise your child to visit the Clinic on time whenever she is sick. Parents will be informed if the need arises for their ward to be taken home.
